South Bend Human Rights Commission Scholarship Announcement
Application Opens:ย December 9, 2024, to February 17, 2025
Theย South Bend Human Rights Commission is excited to announce the opening of entries for the 34th Fair Housing Human Rights Scholarship. This scholarship is open to all residents of St. Joseph County, including students in elementary, middle, high schools, and colleges.
Scholarship Details:ย The scholarship aims to promote awareness and understanding of human rights issues. Applicants are encouraged to submit entries in the following categories:
- College (Video) Scholarship:ย The video should be 1 โ 3 minutes. Video Scholarship Winner: $2,000.00
- High School (Essay) Scholarship:ย The essay should be 500 words. Essay Scholarship Winner: First Place $2,000.00, Secondย Place $1,500.00
- Middle School (Tik Tok Video) Scholarship: The Tik Tok video should be 1-3 Minute. Tik Tok Video Scholarship Winner: $1,000.00 (School Ice Cream Party)
- Elementary School (Poster). It should be a class project, and the class should vote for one winner to represent the class. Poster Scholarship winner: $1,000.00ย (School Pizza Party)
We encourage all eligible students to participate and share their unique perspectives on human rights. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the community and gain recognition for your efforts.
