May 26, 2023 — Beginning Tuesday, May 30, the Michigan Street and Chippewa Avenue roundabout will close overnight for striping. The roundabout is expected to close Tuesday, May 30 and Wednesday, May 31 at 9:00 p.m. and reopen at 5 a.m. the following day, weather permitting. Through traffic will not be permitted during the closure. Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained from side streets.
Northbound traffic on Michigan Street will detour east on Ireland Road, north on Ironwood Drive and west on Lincoln Way East. Southbound traffic will detour west on Ewing Avenue, south on Main Street and east on Ireland Road.
