September 12, 2023 — Beginning Wednesday, September 13, the eastbound lane of Ewing Avenue from Prairie Avenue (State Road 23) to Emerson Forest Parkway will close for water connection work. Eastbound traffic will detour northeast on Prairie Avenue, south on Gertrude Street to Ewing Avenue.
In addition to the closure above, temporary lane restrictions will be in place starting Monday, September 18, on Prairie Avenue from Locust Road to Ewing Avenue for sewer connection work.
Restrictions will be in place throughout the duration of the project, which has an estimated completion date of Thursday, September 21, weather permitting.
