Neighborhood Health and Housing (NHH) provides programs and services that benefit the community, including enforcement of the Rental Safety Verification Program (RSVP), Landlord Registration, administering the Lead Hazard Reduction Grant Program, and providing assistance to eligible homeowners, first-time homebuyers, tenants, landlords, nonprofit partners, developers, and builders to promote safe and affordable housing.

Community Homebuyers Corporation
The homeownership assistance program helps individuals become first-time homeowners in South Bend.

The City of South Bend periodically hosts a Home Repair Program.

Lead Hazard Reduction Program
The Lead Hazard Reduction Grant mitigates lead-based paint hazards in homes by funding eligible applicants for removal.

Rental Safety Verification Program (RSVP)
RSVP monitors the health and safety of rental properties. The program offers a Certificate of Rental Safety for qualifying properties, provides information on maintaining a healthy home, and includes tips for inspection preparation.
