The City of South Bend will host the third annual South Bend Global Cup this Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Boehm Park. The South Bend Global Cup is a one-day soccer tournament that celebrates the universality of sports and the diverse heritage of South Bend. Food trucks will be at Boehm Park for the duration of the event
This year, in collaboration with Downtown South Bend’s First Fridays, there will be a Procession of Flags on Friday, October 3, at 6:00 p.m. to kick off the tournament weekend. The procession will begin at Gridiron Plaza and span the 100 and 200 blocks of Michigan Street as part of First Fridays’ Fall in Love with Downtown celebration. Families, children, and soccer fans are encouraged to attend and enjoy interactive soccer games for kids on the Gridiron.
Both events are free and open to the public.
