The City of South Bend Department of Community Investment will host a public meeting on Wednesday, October 9 from 6-8pm at the Technology Resource Center to gather public input on its application for a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant application, titled “Western Avenue Transformation District.” The narrative requests funding for the redevelopment of the Rabbi Shulman building and nearby vacant land.
