March 9, 2023 — The City of South Bend Department of Public Works announces the following traffic alerts beginning Monday, March 13, weather permitting.
Cleveland Road – Ameritech Drive Intersection
Beginning Monday, March 13, the Cleveland Road – Ameritech Drive intersection will be temporarily restricted as crews perform survey work for a future pavement replacement project. Restrictions are expected to be in place through Thursday, March 16.
Miami Street
Starting Monday, March 13, Miami Street from Ireland Road to Calvert Street will be temporarily restricted to two lanes. Crews will begin reconstructing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramps at intersections in the vicinity as part of paving planned for Miami Street. Temporary lane restrictions will be in place throughout the entirety of the project. The project is expected to be completed by the end of June, weather permitting.
