The City of South Bend announces its holiday trash pickup schedule for the next two weeks. Due to the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, Tuesday through Thursday pickups will be delayed by one day. City offices will be closed on Tuesdays, December 25 and January 1.
For the week of December 24, trash pickup will be:
- Monday, December 24: Normal pickup
- Tuesday, December 25: Christmas, no service
- Wednesday, December 26: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Tuesday
- Thursday, December 27: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Wednesday
- Friday, December 28: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Thursday
For the week of December 31, trash pickup will be:
- Monday, December 31: Normal pickup
- Tuesday, January 1: New Year’s Day, no service
- Wednesday, January 2: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Tuesday
- Thursday, January 3: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Wednesday
- Friday, January 4: Pickup in areas normally serviced on Thursday
