November 26, 2024 — The City of South Bend has announced an adjusted trash and yard waste pickup schedule in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Due to the holiday, trash and yard waste pickup scheduled for Thursday, November 28 will be delayed by one day. Areas typically serviced on Thursday will now be picked up on Friday, November 29.
The revised collection schedule for the week of November 25 is as follows:
• Monday, November 25: Regular pickup
• Tuesday, November 26: Regular pickup
• Wednesday, November 27: Regular pickup
• Thursday, November 28: No service (Thanksgiving Day)
• Friday, November 29: Pickup for areas normally serviced on Thursday
