October 24, 2022 — The City of South Bend Department of Public Works announces the following traffic alerts beginning Monday, October 24, weather permitting.
Cleveland Road
Beginning Monday, October 24, Cleveland Road from Juniper to Ironwood roads is temporarily restricted to two lanes for crews to make permanent concrete repairs following the October 12 water main break. The project is anticipated to be complete by Saturday, October 29, weather permitting.
Wilber Street
Starting Wednesday, October 26, Wilber Street from Vassar Avenue to Humboldt Street will be closed to install a water service line for a new bathroom facility at Muessel Grove Park. The detour route will be Adams Street via Vassar Avenue or Humboldt Street. The street is expected to reopen Wednesday, November 2, weather permitting.
