Assessment Process

| 1 | Security Consultant | After receiving your application form, the team will assign one of the security consultants to conduct the assessment for your business within a week |
| 2 | Conduct Assessment | Your assigned consultant company will contact you to arrange a convenient time to conduct a comprehensive security assessment of your business |
| 3 | Assessment Report | Your business will receive a detailed report outlining your current security status and recommendations for improvements or necessary installations |
| 4 | (Optional) Apply for the Grant | Once the Business Security Grant opens, your business can use this assessment as supporting documentation for your application. This is optional. |

Who is eligible to apply for the Business Security Assessment?

When is the deadline to sign up for the security assessment?
The security assessment will be provided to businesses on a first-come-first-serve basis until all funds have been exhausted.
If I have an existing security system, can I still apply for the assessment?
Yes, you may still apply for the assessment. Businesses will be able to discuss any improvements or upgrades they wish to make with the security consultants.
Do I have to purchase the equipment and/or systems suggested by the security consultant?
Businesses are not obliged to purchase any of the suggested equipment and/or systems. If businesses would like to purchase anything, they can also apply for the grant program to subsidize costs.
Can I only apply for the security assessment but not the grant?
Businesses can apply for the assessment only and choose not to apply for the grant if they wish.
Can I choose which vendor to work with?
Businesses will be assigned to the vendors based on several factors such as scheduling availability.
