October 31, 2023 — Starting Wednesday, November 1, North Shore Drive from Michigan Street to Niles Avenue will be closed for additional repairs related to a stormwater pipe that outfalls into the river. Detour routes will be Michigan Street and Notre Dame Avenue via Angela Boulevard. The anticipated reopening date will be the end of day Monday, November 13, weather permitting.
Additional repair work will continue through end of November. Depending on the phase of work, the eastbound lane of North Shore Drive may be closed intermittently during this time.
