CITY, COUNTY TO HOST FIRST LISTENING SESSION FOR OLDER RESIDENTS FOR THE SOUTH BEND REGIONAL AARP AGE-FRIENDLY INITIATIVE
The City of South Bend and St. Joseph County will hold a Listening Session on Friday, November 4 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Charles Martin Youth Center to discuss the experiences and needs of older adult residents in the city and county. The session will focus on outdoor spaces and buildings, one of AARP’s designated “8 Domains of Livability.”
Mayor James Mueller, County Commissioner Deborah Fleming, Indiana AARP representative Addison Pollock, City and County staff, and other local elected officials will be in attendance.
Coffee and donuts will be provided.
