Help us improve the way we welcome new residents and neighbors! City of South Bend teams are seeking new ways to improve how residents learn about and get signed up for City services and programs upon moving.

Make your voice heard

City staff provide services to residents through digital and paper tools, from online dashboards to paper tools. We need to understand how residents use these tools to know how to improve them.

South Bend User Experience (SB UX) collects resident feedback to make these improvements! SB UX testers provide feedback through SB UX tests. 

 

How it works

During tests, City staff observe how you use an existing tool or prototype. Then, we update the tool based on your feedback and other testers’ feedback.

 

We’ll let you know how your feedback helped us and also compensate you for your time. As a tester, you’ll also learn more about how City services work and the tools we use!

 

Here’s how the SB UX process works in more detail:

Sign up with your email

Complete screening questions
  • We send screening questions with each test.
  • We review your answers, then let you know if you’re a good fit for the test.

Work with City staff
  • You provide feedback during in-person or remote tests.

See your impact!
  • We send an update on how your feedback helped improve City services and digital tools!
  • You get a gift card as compensation for your time.
