The City of South Bend’s Engagement and Economic Empowerment team has announced its schedule for the 2nd year of the Linden Avenue Pop-Up Markets.
Four pop-up markets featuring local food vendors, farmers, and entertainment will be held on Linden Avenue in Kennedy Park at the corner of Linden Avenue and Birdsell Street on the following dates:
- Saturday, June 11 from 1 to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, July 9 from 1 to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, September 10 from 1 to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, October 8 from 1 to 5 p.m.
The market will feature local food vendors, farmers, and entertainment.
“We are beyond thrilled with the success of last year’s Linden Avenue Pop-Up Market, and the opportunity to expand access to fresh, nutritional food to our city’s westside. We also hope that moving the market to Saturdays will increase the overall participation of vendors and patrons from across the city,” said Alkeyna Aldridge. Aldridge serves as the City’s Director of Engagement & Economic Empowerment.
The City is still seeking food vendors, farmers, and others to participate in the market.
