The City of South Bend invites residents to attend an upcoming public meeting on Wednesday, April 24 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to discuss the 2020 City budget. The meeting will take place at the Bendix Theater inside the Century Center, and will give individuals an opportunity to provide input, learn about the budget process, and speak with City officials prior to the kickoff of the 2020 budget season.
The meeting will open with a 30-minute presentation on the basics of budgeting. Afterwards residents will break up into groups where City officials take notes on what residents would like to see in the 2020 budget.
