The City of South Bend encourages residents to consider attending one of several vaccination clinics or vaccination registration events scheduled this week.
“The COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and free,” said Mayor James Mueller. “I encourage residents to show up to one of the walk-in clinics or registration events so that we can safely put the pandemic behind us and get back to life as normal.”
The Indiana State Department of Health will host free vaccination clinics that allow walk-ins this week in partnership with La Casa De Amistad and the Civil Rights Heritage Center. Both clinics will offer the one-dose Johnson & Johnson for those 18 and older and the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine for children 12-17.
