The City of South Bend will temporarily change the name of the intersection of Ford and Lombardy Streets at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24 to “Memorial Day Drive” to kick off the traditional South Bend West Side Memorial Day Parade.
The 96th South Bend West Side Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 27 starting at 8:15 a.m. The parade route is along Ford Street, beginning at Lombardy Street and proceeds to Kaley Street before ending on Olive Street. Mayor Buttigieg will walk in the parade with other City of South Bend employees.
