The Department of Community Investment is responsible for the administration of the South Bend Zoning Ordinance, the South Bend Plan Commission, and South Bend Board of Zoning Appeals.
Meets monthly to hear requests for variances from the development standards of the zoning ordinance, special exception, and use variance requests. The Board meets on the first Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. on the 4th Floor of the County-City Building. Virtual meeting link: www.tinyurl.com/sbbza.
Meets monthly to process Zone Map Changes (rezoning) and Subdivisions. The South Bend Plan Commission meets on the third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. on the 4th Floor of the County-City Building. Virtual meeting link: www.tinyurl.com/southbendplancommission.
